The goal
Place block shapes on the 8×8 board and keep creating complete horizontal or vertical lines. A completed line disappears and opens space for later pieces. There is no falling gravity: every placed block stays exactly where you put it until its row or column clears.
How a turn works
- Look at all three pieces in the tray before moving.
- Drag a piece onto any empty cells where its complete shape fits.
- If the move completes a row or column, that line clears immediately.
- Use all three pieces and a new tray of three appears.
You cannot rotate pieces in this browser version. That makes open space and shape planning more important than simply filling the largest gap.
When the game ends
The run ends only when none of the pieces still in your current tray has a legal position. A crowded board is not automatically game over if even one remaining shape can still fit.
How scoring works in this browser version
Every cell you place adds one point. Each cleared line advances the combo by one level, so clearing several lines at once can jump the streak multiple levels. Clear again within the next three placements to preserve the streak; otherwise the combo resets.

The first habit to learn: plan all three pieces
A move can look perfect by itself and still ruin the tray. Before placing Piece 1, quickly check where Pieces 2 and 3 could go afterward. Large rectangles, long lines and L-shaped pieces are the shapes most likely to expose a bad first move.
What should a beginner do next?
